Meet Snappy, he has been my partner in photographic crime coming on almost a decade now. I bought him at the beginning of 2010 and he was my first, and thus far, only DSLR. After much searching on-line, I came across a site that was selling factory refurbishments. He basically had an issue, was sent back to the Canon factory, fixed and upgraded, then sold as a refurb at a cheaper than brand new price. Paired with my Sigma lens, feature of yesterday’s Fan Of…, Snappy has been a faithful companion on many trips.
As an aside, getting a factory refurb can be a way of buying something that is basically brand new, but at a bargain price; I did the same with my iMac from the Apple Refurb store, and again have had zero issues.
