If it weren’t in the water it would’ve been perfectly camouflaged among the rocks on the shore!
Glad you told us although I think those above it are a variety of sea gull. Don’t think we have the curlew here in the US. Very interesting bird. Great shot.

Oh, you’ve no need to tell us Yorkshire types that. Luckily we see them often in the Dales. And hear them too.
