This week’s Fan Of… is Palms; these plants bring a vibrant splash of green all year round. Owing to Scotland’s climate, palms are not generally found in the wild, so if I’m taking shots of them, I’m either in Glasgow Botanic Gardens, or on holiday somewhere hot & sunny.

This is a good reminder of the beauty of palms that you forget sometime because you had them all around you when young and thought nothing really about them. Now that I am away from them I remember their beauty. Great pictures.

How are the Glasgow Botanical Gardens? My husband and I will be staying in Glasgow in May on the last day of our trip and I’ve thought about maybe seeing it. I’ve read mixed reviews.
