I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, and my faithful camera and capture whatever catches my eye. My posts will be a collection of photos from our travels and anything I find interesting; and squirrels, lots of squirrels.

Great perspective, looks like it is on top of the old
Love the image but it is annoying me because I feel I should know where it is! So far Iβve considered, and dismissed, Greendyke Street and Partick Library. Canβt make the position of old and new work in my head in either. Please put me out of my misery!
Hi Anabel, the shot was taken from down by the Clyde, where the Broomielaw joins Clyde Street, just to the right of Glasgow Bridge. It’s the old ladies waiting room, next to the La Pasionaria.

Great perspective, Jez. The new looks like it sitting on the rooftop of the old. I actually love the contrast of the 2 buildings. π
Thanks, Lisa π I just spotted the composition when walking along the Clyde one day; there’s actually a 4 lane road between the 2 buildings π
