I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. Plenty of fresh water though π For my wife & I, it’s definately going to be the North-East, much drier, & tends to be warmer with the Gulf Stream wrapping round the top of Scotland π
No better place than Loch Lomond for a water everywhere, Jez. I’d love to be wanting there now. We’ve had excess water down here with the local lake expanding considerably. Much to the liking of the watery inhabitants. https://travelwithintent.com/2020/11/09/everyones-enjoying-the-weather/
I wasn’t sure if my pingback worked. http://robertsnapspot.com/2020/11/11/viewing-the-pond/

Thanks Ananka π I just get lucky sometimes, right place, right time π
Glad to see you back xx… Oh I love the Highlands… Definitely would retire there if it didn’t rain so much π€£π€£π€£

We stayed at Invercoe in a caravan… my God I’ve never seen rain like it. It was like someone had turned a hose-pipe on us. π π π
We headed North East on a few days to get away from the rain.
Welcome back Jez. How are you feeling? Hopefully well on the way to recovery π
Certainly on the mend. Playing catch-up on wordpress now, so, plenty to keep me out of mischief π
