One-to-Three Photo Processing Challenge — March 2021

·

Hi All 👋 My first entry for theSquirrelChase challenge.

All my editing for this post was done using Photo Focus & Splash Colour Pro. This was an App I got free to replace my previous Colour Strokes App which is no longer around.

I’ve gone for another lensball shot for today’s editing fun

The next is using a blur function where you can further blur the background. As this is a lensball shot, it made sense to have everything outside the lensball blurred; the effect is most noticable in the foreground as the background is already quite out of focus. For these I’ve used the slider function; the original is always on the left & the edited on the right

Using blur

This next is a black & white graduated edit. As with most colour splash editing, the picture is set to grey scale & then you highlight the areas you want in colour. The difference with this one is that you are able to graduate the colour outwards from the centre. In the centre is full colour and fades to greyscale the further out you go. You can set the diameter of the full colour & the graduated ring independently

Graduated greyscale

…and finally, this is the App’s classic filter, with the lensball in full colour

They are all great – I love how the different editing techniques always put lensy in the centre.

I like the graduated grey scale. Those crystal balls are fun to work with. After seeing this, I am inspired to pull it out of the camera bag 🙂

I really like what you’ve done with these. Especially the last one, the old-time sepia with the color in the focused lens ball, it may be because blue and yellow are complementary colors, but the lens ball really pops.
