Misty Mornings, Golden Grass and Blue Skies Overhead — Lens-Artists Challenge #167

Hi all šŸ˜ƒ My entry for this week’s #LAPC, set by Amy. This is also my entry for Terri’s Sunday Stills, Cee’s Mid-Week Madness Challenge, & Heyjude’s Life in Colour.

The leaves haven’t really started to change that much yet, but we are seeing a marked drop in temperatures, with mist & low clouds prevalent in the mornings & clear blue skies above.

Low cloud in the Forth Clyde Valley

In the deep blue above, fly squadrons of geese on their way home to warmer climes.

The canals & moorlands are all a golden mass of dried grass & bracken. The golden hue is further accentuated by the low autumn sun blazing through the mist.

Without the haze of summer, the world above the clouds is sharper. And of course, Lensy had to come out to play šŸ˜ƒ.

    1. It’s taken me a year & a half of perseverance to get to know what Lensy likes & doesn’t. Landscapes, Cityscapes & geometric designs area definite yes. I always look for somewhere to sit him so I have both hands free to operate the camera & really dial in the focus. Definitely worth the time & effort šŸ˜ƒ

  1. A very beautiful set of colors of autumn, Jez! I love how you captured the golden hue, glorious. That mist & low clouds image is absolutely fabulous,

Great to hear your thoughts šŸ˜ƒ
