Waters of the Past — Water Water Everywhere #100, Fan Of… #131, PastSquares & Lens-Artists #171

Hi all 😁 Feel free to join in whenever you have a water picture, video or poem to post (any type of water, in any state, will do), or find yourself thinking “I’m a Fan Of…”. See below for how to join the fun 😁

First off, a huge big thank you to all those who follow my blog, participate in my challenges & host their own, you’re all awesome 🙏👏😁

Woohoo 🎉 100 episodes of Water Water Everywhere 😁 & as such, I thought a revisit of past WWEs was the way to go for the post & seems perfect to link up with Becky’s #PastSquares & my weekly Fan Of… challenge. These are my top 5 pics in no particular order (I was trying for top 3, but couldn’t wittle them down any further 😂).

Although water may not be particularly wierd it is certainly wonderful, although I suppose viewing it through a lensball does add a touch of wierdness to it; as such I’ve linked this post into the Lens-Artists Challenge: Wierd & Wonderful, set this week by Leya 😃

…and now for a mahoosive (it’s a word) gallery (100 pics) of past & new WWE shots. I was going to apologise for the gallery, but wouldn’t mean it, so why bother 😝

How To Join In

  1. Create a Water Water Everywhere of Fan Of… post.
  2. Add a link to your WWE or Fan Of… blog post in my comment box or create a pingback by linking to my post.
  3. Title your post Water Water Everywhere or add WWE tag, or Fan Of….

Hae a guid week 😁

  1. Gorgeous way to weave in your WWE, Lens Artists and Becky B’s challenges. They worked together beautifully. I love the second photo. It looks like water, but also it looks like a jewel. Just fabulous. 🙂

  2. I like the lens ball shots as well and this post was wonderful – also – I just posted a lot of photos in my recent post for LAPC and at first I was going to split it into two posts – but then felt it would lose something – anyhow – scrolling your many images reminded me that there is no prescribed length and it is bloggers choice – need to decide what is needed – 🙂

    1. Thank you so much 😊 I too was undecided about the length of the post, but as you say there is no prescribed length & shortening it would not have done it justice 😃

      1. exactly!!
and I like how Bushboy and Trent sometimes give us a warning that the post might be long –
at first I did not think they should preface it and thought it might lead to projecting that it felt long – but then I realized that a lot of photographers are not “short posts” and some do one photo a post or at the most “three” – anyhow, I cam to appreciate the warning and it did help my viewing – and so I added that to my recent post –

now getting back to yours here –
what was so interesting about it was that it flowed so well and had different moods yet so much similarity
also, had your signature style which is another reason why we should not worry about length – whether long or short – what unfolds needs to come from our essence at the time

  4. An amazing gallery Jez! – And I always love your lensball shots. I am glad you considered them a bit weird…so you could use them in this challenge too. Your droplets, dewy and frozen are just wonderful.

  5. wow!! What an extraordinary exhibition you have put together, these are fantastic – and feel very honoured for squares to me mentioned in this anniversary post

  6. Good grief Jez – as we say here in the states, you really went to hell with yourself !!! All beautiful but I’m a big fan of your droplets this week and I so also love the truck in the snow 😊
