Well spotted, but a bit tough sharing your home environment with a cone.

A necessary evil, unfortunately. The shot was taken down at the canal where a field boundary runs right down to the water; the fence extends into the water to stop the livestock getting round it & so is a danger to navigation by the canal boats — hence the cone

Ah well, at least it’s not a discarded piece of litter.
