Canal Bridges — Fan Of… #148

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking, “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This weeks Fan Of… is canal bridges. These tend to be small in extent but are vital to keep both road & canal traffic flowing. This is aslo my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Bridges.

Bridge, aquaduct or canal??? This raised section of canal carries the Union Canal as it exits the Roughcastle Tunnel to join the Falkirk Wheel for its decent to the Forth & Clyde Canal. My thoughts are that it is a bridge that carrys water, & is therefore an aquaduct
