Hi all 😁 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking, “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).
This weeks Fan Of… is more ducks. These ones were mainly photographed down at the Forth & clyde Canal.
I had nicely lined up this female mallard for a couple of shots…

…when she got startled into flight by a male mallard.

I tried to follow them, but low light & extreme range of my zoom lens meant that it was difficult 😩
This female mallard came over to see us where we had stopped, watched us for a while, scratched her ear, posed for a final shot & said goodbye.

…and finally, a few more ducks to round off this post.

Thanks, Cee 😊 & thanks for playing along 🙏
Ducks are such good subjects, aren’t they? And so difficult to photograph in flight …
I’ve got some birds on offer as well today: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2022/05/02/im-a-fan-of-pheasants/
They really are difficult to catch in flight, particularly on dull days 😩
