Simple Things — Lens-Artists Challenge #257

Hi all 😃 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Philo from Philosophy Through Photography.

Starting off this week with some simple white flowers.

You really can’t beat nature for simplicity.

An old tower on a hilltop

Greenan Tower

An old radio antenna with the sun’s halo.

An old jetty jutting out into the harbour.

You can enjoy the variety of textures on this old telephone pole with a plain sky background.

These are a couple of very simple but elegant sculptures.

We move away from simple shots to a simple but meaningful message…

…to the simple joys in life, such as a day out on the bike…

…and walking barefoot on a beach.

  1. What a captivating collection of masterpiece examples for this challenge!
    I loved every image, Jez!
Sun, shadows and the Sun halo clicks are amazing! Amazing texture of the telephone pole!
Love bikes and footprint click is my favourite!
Images of the birds and Jetty are fantastic!
Now I know better, the meaning of ‘Visions unveiled’!
Thank you so much for sharing these visual wonders and joining us.

  2. I agree with Brian. I enjoyed it more and more as I continued to read, and look. No, you can’t beat nature to bring it, but you proved simplicity can be found anywhere if you are willing to pay attention. I loved Brennan Tower, the jetty, and the bird on the post. But the footprint sign nailed it across the board. Love it all Jez.

Great to hear your thoughts 😃
