I’m starting off this post with some portable time. These are a couple of pocket watches I’ve had for many years.
I spent some timedoing some macro shots of these ornate watches
Time moves on, from old to new.
These next time pieces are not so portable.

Beautiful pocket watches, Jez! I remember how proud my grandfather was with his gold pocket watch which was always in his small vest pocket. Great pictures!

hahaha great ending, Jez. I just poured a cup to join you. Love that you took the time – no pun intended- to look closer at pocket watches. They are certainly a collectors item. The intricate detail in those old watches is almost an art. Comparing one with an iwatch certainly puts time in perspective. Your cityscapes with the clock towers are a great add as well. I really like the old pocket watches. I don’t guess people carry them any more these days. 🙂
