This week’s Fan Of… is Orchids; or as they are called in Scots, balderrie. The spotted ones are called puddock’s spindle (great name)! These shots were all taken during a recent visit to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens with my wife.

This week’s Fan Of… is Cacti. This collection of Cacti are all in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens.
The following plant is not a cactus but was in the same display so I’ve included it for it’s furry leafs and purple flowers; the Lambs Ear (Stachys byzantina).

I always need my morning mug of the good stuff before heading off to work, particularly if it’s an early start at 0600. Of all the different coffee making machines I’ve had, you can’t beat the good old cafatiére, or French Press.

Hi All 👋 Welcome to this weeks Fan Of… Cee Neuner Photography.
I expect that most people who follow my blog are as aware of Cee’s blog as I am. For those who aren’t, Cee runs a photo challenge blog with daily and weekly challenges. Cee’s hosts a daily Flower Of The Day challenge and 2 weekly challenges: Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge, and Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge.
I got involved in Cee’s challenges at an early point in my photo blogging, and they helped me look at old photos in a different light, as well as encouraged me to go out and take new photos in response to the challenges; below are some of those photos.
As well as running her own challenges, Cee hosts a page called For the Love of Challenges, which is a comprehensive list of challenges hosted by a myriad of other bloggers; be they Photo, Writing or Music challenges.
As well as learning more about photography, Cee’s challenges are always fun; not only do we get to see Cee’s fantastic pictures, but also those of many other bloggers
So, thank you, Cee, for running your challenges and being a great inspiration to myself and other bloggers

Hi All 👋 This week’s Fan Of… Squirrels. We have a couple of squirrel feeding boxes in the back garden which these fluffy little critters visit on a regular basis. Some of the braver ones will come right up to the window to get a peanut; it’s not uncommon to feel like you’re being watched, to turn round and see a fuzzy face peering in at the window.
This is also my entry for the Animal of the Day Challenge run by Betty Louise.
