Holes in Trees — Fan Of… #80
Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).
This week’s Fan Of… is Holes in trees.
Whilst on my recent trek around Palacerigg Country Park (Fan Of… #79), I came across this tree with a hole through the trunk at a convenient height for me & snappy.
I, of course, decided that it might be interesting to take some shots of the open moorland through it.
I then noticed that it was probably the right size to sit lensy in (what a surprise) and get a few more shots.

Full Speed Ahead — Water Water Everywhere #46

Whilst at the Palacerigg Visitor Centre, I noticed this mallard on one side of the pond, watching the others across the way. I don’t think she liked the way one of the other ducks quacked at her, as she was soon accelerating across the pond, & the other turned & sped off

Palacerigg Country Park — Fan Of… #79
Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).
This week’s Fan Of… is Palacerigg Country Park.
This is an area of countryside to the south-west of Cumbernauld, Scotland. It contains areas of open moorland, interspersed with patches of woodland. Within the park boundaries sits Fannyside Lochs (Fan Of… #44), & a visitor centre (will be in a later post). There are quite a few stables around so there were some horses to talk to as well
These shots are from my recent trek around the park, with very varying conditions as you will see, & plenty of opportunities to play with my lensball

Hi All 👋 My entry for Debbie’s 6WS. I like how the one on the right is looking disdainfully at the one with the coat
