This week’s Fan Of… Lensy’s view of the Falkirk Wheel.

These first two shots were taken at the lock entrance to the wheel basin, & the wheel in the background looks like a giant bird head.

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This week’s Fan Of… is the Kelpies as seen by Lensy.

This Fan Of... post follows on from last weeks Fan Of… #111 about The Kelpies (? click here for more info). So far, I haven’t seen many other lensball shots of the Kelpies & thought they would lend themselves to this style of photography.

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This week’s Fan Of… The Kelpies.

The Kelpies (? click here for more info) are the largest equine sculptures in the world & are modelled on two workhorses of times gone by, Duke & Baron, representing the lineage of the heavy horse that were key to Scotland’s industrial success. The Kelpies sit at the eastern end of the Forth & Clyde Canal & are well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

    Happy Anniversary– Fan Of… #110

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how-to).

This week’s Fan Of… celebrating another anniversary with my awesome wife, Susan (? click to check out her site) — Happy Anniversary, Sweetie

We’ve been together 24 years now, & married 18. We don’t have a car through choice & so have recently been saving like mad to get ourselves a couple of long-distance e-bikes. They arrived just over a week ago, in time for our latest anniversary, & the adventures have already started. We will be using the local canal paths to get around & explore as many of the local attractions as possible by bike.

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).

This week’s Fan Of… is a dawn walk with Lensy.

Nearing the end of my walk with Lensy, the path goes into some woodland. Near the start were a couple of decent stumps with good lighting which was too good an opportunity to pass up.

    A Dawn Walk With Lensy Pt 1 — Fan Of… #106

Hi All 👋 Feel free to join in this weekly challenge whenever you find yourself thinking “I’m a fan of…” (see below for how to).

This week’s Fan Of… is a dawn walk with Lensy.

Owing to lockdown restrictions & a high workload, I haven’t been out with Snappy (DSLR) & Lensy (lensball) since my visit to Palacrigg Country Park on New Years Day. I got the chance to get out last week & was up at Fannyside Lochs, within Palacerigg Country Park for sunrise. I took full advantage of clear conditions & plenty of posts & stumps to put Lensy on & took about 250 shots in total (don’t worry, they’re not all with lensy). I started up at the Lochs & then followed numerous trails back towards home. I’ve split up the walk into 3 distinct phases: Fannyside Lochs (today’s post), walking through the park (pt 2) & some woodland pics (pt 3).
