Classics — Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #70: Monochrome

Hi all 😁 When Patti posted the monochrome challenge, my thoughts immediately went to when my wife and I were visiting Santa Monica some years ago.

We were lucky enough to be down at the pier when a Classic Car Show was taking place; and what better way to show off these beautiful motors of a past era than in monochrome. In this case I though that silvertone did the most justice to this great collection of cars. I hope you enjoy this collaberation of photos by my wife, Susan, and I 😁

  1. It’s funny. Just today I was thinking about how much I miss Southern California where I lived for over thirteen years. My nostalgia runs especially deep when the cold weather starts to set in.

  2. Along with other commenters, I noted as I viewed these images that they could have been taken when those classics were new. Your post is truly a trip at 88 MPH in a special Delorean.

Great to hear your thoughts 😃
