Hi all π My entry for this weeks challenge, set by Tina: Favourite Images of 2020.
Travel was very much curtailed in 2020, but it’s amazing what we can see within walking distance of home!
Starting off with these shots of a visiting squirrel drinking from small puddles on the shed roof.

Had a lot of fun playing with my new macro lens; these are my favourites!

My lensball was also a new toy, & much experimantation helped me to learn what does & doesn’t work. Basically, yay for landscapes! although the shot of daisy cottage with a daisy had to make the selection too π

…and finally, I managed to get a decent shot of the moon (the last full moon of 2020) ππ

Such an amazing set of captures to remember 2020!
Very wonderful π
Thanks, Hammad π
Fantastic gallery! I’m so impressed with the moon shot π€©
Great photos. Love the squirrel, and the macros are superb. Gazing into one’s crystal ball, has the world turned upside down? One can only wonder, what is next. π
Turned upside down has given me an idea for Becky’s SquareUp challenge; thanks, John π
I think you’re featuring one of your critical admirers there!
love the perspective through the lens ball π
Thanks π
This is Wow π€© Love the perspective
Great photos. Loving the squirrel and spider π
Great selection
Thanks, Alison π
Jez, I would like permission to use the images of the droplets and the Spider, please.
Of course you can, Andrew! What is youβre using it for?
As an addition to a photo I took of a spider.
π
Several of my favs in this collection: the lens ball, a darling squirrel, and droplets! I enjoyed this very much indeed!
Me too, especially the droplets
Thank you so much, Anne π
The squirrels are my favourite! I also love your lens ball captures…
Thanks, Rita π
I love the raindrops on the web. Gorgeous
They’re all gorgeous! You have an artist’s eye, Jez.
Thank you so much, Dora π
Wonderful shots as always. Although I get mad at the squirrels getting in m y feeders, that are so photogenic. Him sitting up seems to say “Hello friend. Do you have a bit of food you can throw my way?”
Lovely images. I love the droplets! I’m a bit of a droplet fan π
Thanks, Suzy π I find them fascinating π
