I thought I’d do some macros of a familiar object!
Canon EFS 18-55mm zoom lens
On these last two shots I was varying the aperture to see the effect; the one on the left has a very narrow field of focus (f/2.8), whilst the one on the right (f/9) has a lot more of the shot in focus.
I'm a Royal Navy Veteran from Scotland and love to get out and about with my wife, susantbraithwaite.com, on our Kalkhoff e-bikes. My faithful camera, Snappy, and the ever-present Lensy (lensball) are always along for the ride to capture the beauty of Scotland 🏴. Join me as I share photos from our travels, how Lensy views the world & pretty much anything shiny ✨

I hope you are having a great week.
Awesome, thanks so much, Cee 😊 Hope you guys are having a great week as well 😃
Great idea! I like it 😀
Oh you had some fun. On your last photo I like the F9.0. That’s normally where I like to take flowers because it keeps them sharpe and clear. 😀 😀
And I’m still thinking about buying that lens shaped coffee mug for myself 🙂
Great images Jez The first one is the best 🙂 🙂
