Hi all π My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Amy: Here Comes the Sun.
Sunrise, one of my favourite times of the day for a bit of natural drama; although in Scotland, it can mean an early rise to catch it π
Even when it’s up, the sun can still disappear, turning day to night in the space of 30 minutes…
…but even if we can barely see it, it’s still up there.

Having the sun low in the sky is always fun to play with as a photographer.
Of course, Lensy likes the sun for that added bit of sparkle & some lensflare.
At the end of the day, the sun likes to disappear, often with some more drama!
A sunny explosion, Jez! Love the flares and Lensy, and…
Thanks, A-C π
Great selections. I love the colors in that first one.
Thanks, John π
Awesome images for this challenges Jez! I especially liked those with lens flares.
Thanks, Anne π I always thought lensflare was something to be avoided until Debbie form Travel With Intent did a post about it π
Enjoyed your selections and especially liked the ones for the sun low in the sky – nice sparkles and Glisten
Thank you π
Marvelous collection of sun photos. That snow storm made a very dramatic entrance. You captured it well Jez
