On the Edge — Lens-Artists Challenge #269

Hi all 😃 My entry for this week’s challenge, hosted by Patti.

These first shots were inspired by Patti’s capture of the Scott Monument. Edinburgh Castle perched on the edge of a volcanic plug.

Next is a busy bee working it’s way around the edge of an allium flower head.

Stood at the edge of the tracks to get a shot of an old steam train.

Greenan Tower perched on the edge of a cliff.

This sequence of shots shows the sun slowly edging up over the horizon to start a new day.

And to finish off, Lensy looking over the edge of the cliffs down to Earlsferry.

  1. Fabulous collection, Jez. Your images from Edinburgh are terrific. And I love the train image, too. Glad you added to our “edges” collection!

  2. Beautiful as always Jez. I’m with Donna, some of those edgy structures are WAY to edgy for me! Well captured though, and of course I always love Lensy’s appearance and this post is no exception!

  3. A great gallery. A few of the structures are a bit too close for my comfort. Greenan Tower looks ready to topple over. Beautiful photos from the beaches. Fun lens shots, and I liked the train on the edge. Always a pleasure to see what you come up with.

Great to hear your thoughts 😃
