A Variety Of Shorelines — Lens-Artists Challenge #314

·

Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Anne: Shorelines.

Like Anne, I find peace & relaxation where water meets the land… fortunately, shorelines are never more than a stone’s throw away in Scotland. Be warned, mammoth post ahead

We have ponds, lochans (wee lochs), lochs (surrounded by land) & sea lochs (lochs that extend inland from the sea & are tidal).

We have canals…

There are plenty of estuaries, starting with the Firth of Forth…

…the Clyde Estuary…

… & the Tay Estuary.

Let’s not forget sunrise/sunset… always that wee bit more special where the water meets the land

Oh Jez, yes a long look, but so worth it! All your photos were beautiful. It took me a wee bit longer, because I Googled all the places. Well done and thanks.
