Hi All 👋 My entry for this week’s challenge, set by Anne of Slow Shutter Speed: Wildlife Close to Home.

We have quite a lot of skwurrels (Scots for squirrels) living nearby that visit the garden regularly; they even come right up to the door (see last pic)

There’s even a family of wee mice living at the bottom of the garden.
I often see deer in the neighbourhood or down by the canal; occasionally I have my camera with me.
Moving on to our feathered friends; there’s always gulls to be found standing on posts.
Having the canal nearby & plenty of wee lochs about means there are a lot of waterfowl…

…& the odd appearance of cormorants.

We mustn’t forget the more common visitors to the garden.
